One day, I had challenged myself to draw an image "by the seat of my pants." Meaning, whenever I thought, "What if I drew this?" I would just draw it. There was no plan, and I had no idea what the results would be. The only forethought I had was that I wanted the image to be bright and striking, so I used angular contours and a vibrant color pallet. The intention was to imitate the style of edgy 90's-early 00's cartoons, as a way to challenge myself.
By the end of the design phase, I had a bonkers display that I couldn't take my eyes off of. This piece is very unlike anything I've ever drawn, and I was happy to find that I could create something so fascinating, yet so far outside my comfort zone.
